ROCHESTER, NEW YORK – April 25, 2013 - Rochester's indoor arena football team the Roc City Thunder are announcing the cancellation of Friday April 26, 2013 game vs. the Lancaster Lightning. The Lightning informed the Thunder last night that they will not be able to attend Fridays contest. As a result of this situation and additional complications with future contest the Roc City Thunder has suspended the additional two home contests. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and will begin preparation for the 2014 season as a full fledged member of the CIFL and look forward to making a historic run at the 2014 Championship.

The Thunder start the season off 2-0 with a 57-6 victory over Buffalo. Jordan Koch complete 7 of 13 passes for 109 yards and 3 touchdowns. Steve Fleming recorded 4 sacks and a saftey in the victory. 

The Thunder's next home contest will take place on Sunday April 21st @ the RIT Gordan Field House with 3:30pm start vs. the Albany Fighting Irish.
